ACCOMMODATIONS

The Canadian Education Network (CEN) is pleased to provide accommodation assistance as a service to any international visitor or student in Canada. There are many accommodation options available; the following are the most popular:

Homestay Accommodation

CEN manages a Homestay Program that provides students with accommodation in the welcoming homes of Canadian families. The Homestay experience offers students an excellent way to become acquainted with a new city, a new culture, and of course, to practice speaking English. The homestay fees are as follows:

• Placement Fee: CDN$250 (one-time fee)
• Per Month: CDN$800 - CDN$850/month (meals included). A surcharge of Cdn $50/month may apply for special dietary needs.

Campus Residence

Many schools provide the opportunity for students to live on campus. Campus residency is a cost effective way of providing accommodation while studying.
Per Month: Approx. Cdn $500 – Cdn $800

Private Accommodation

Arrangements can be made for a private apartment based on the student’s preferred price range, location, and type of accommodation.
Per Month: Approx. CDN$650 - CDN$2500 (one-time additional finding fee will also apply)
