CEN accepts applications throughout the year. To proceed with an application, please complete the online inquiry form, or email us with your inquiry.
APPLICATION PROCESS
All CEN applications follow a standard application process, as outlined below:
Step One: Initial Contact
Students may contact us directly (via email or online inquiry), or one of our many qualified representatives around the world. Once we have received an inquiry, we will assign a student reference number and provide the student with an official CEN Application Form and a list of required documents.
Step Two: Evaluation *Complimentary Service*
Once the student completes and submits the official CEN Application Form and all other requested documents, we then provide our free evaluation and Study Plan. The Study Plan provides information on the student’s desired program, CEN’s recommended pathway to success, and the steps and school fees required to proceed with the application.
For Graduate students, the preparation of the Study plan is intensive, as CEN must conduct a thorough exploration regarding the candidate’s research interests, potential advisors, and programs that best meet his or her credentials.
Step Three: Secure Placement
Once a student agrees to a Study Plan, CEN requests that they courier (DHL, FedEx, etc.) all of the necessary official documents and application fee to our office. Upon receipt of the courier package and payment of the application fee, CEN then begins the formal application processes, on behalf of the student, to the selected programs and schools. CEN handles any questions or concerns that the institutions have and also sends regular updates to the student.
In the case of Graduate applications, CEN will email potential advisors with the student’s Statement of Interest and Credentials for evaluation. Any required forms and documents will also be submitted.
Step Four: Preparing for Studies in Canada
Upon receiving a Letter of Acceptance, CEN will conduct a final check, and will then forward a complete acceptance package to the student that will include:
- Letter(s) of Acceptance (from CEN & the necessary schools)
- Information for Student Visa application
- Accommodation application
- Any additional required information
While the student begins the Student Visa application process, CEN prepares for his or her arrival in Canada. This preparation includes finalizing their accommodations, studies, medical insurance (which is mandatory in Canada), Airport Reception, and any other required arrangements. CEN may also register students for classes, and will inform the students of their course schedule and key dates to remember.
Step Five: Arrival and Reception in Canada
Students who have chosen to study in Vancouver or Toronto will be received at the airport, if requested, and provided with an orientation at the CEN offices. Students who have chosen to study elsewhere will be provided with the same services by their school. In addition, CEN will keep in touch with the student via email and/or telephone.
Step Six: Studies in Canada
The student begins his or her studies in Canada. Students and their parents/guardians are able to contact our staff whenever they have questions or concerns about any aspect of their stay in Canada and have full access to all of CEN’s support services.
