Bachelor of Nursing
The nursing profession continues to meet the demands of both a changing health care system and the health needs of the public. Nurses view this period as an exciting opportunity, a time to take on new challenges and expanded roles in a time-honored profession. The four-year basic Baccalaureate Program in Nursing includes a majority of course work in nursing, and courses from the liberal arts and sciences. Most nursing courses provide opportunities for clinical practice. As a nursing student, you will work with individuals, families, groups and communities; with persons at various stages of the life cycle; and in a variety of community and hospital settings.
