Business English Programs

Business English programs provide students with practical English language training within a business environment. The Business English program is divided into three levels: Introduction to Business, Business Communications, and Business Concepts. Students studying Business English combine one of the following programs with General English classes to provide a balanced English language program.

INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS ENGLISH (INTERMEDIATE)
Students learn business and meeting vocabulary, how to use the telephone in business situations and how to write business letters and memos.

BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED)
Business Communication focuses on language skills for a wide range of business functions (telephoning, expressing opinions, agreeing/disagreeing, handling complaints, etc.) in a variety of fields, such as sales, investing, human resources, marketing and international trade.

BUSINESS CONCEPTS (ADVANCED)
Business Concepts gives students a broad overview of business and includes some analytical and decision-making skills. The following business topics are introduced: legal forms of business organization, human resource management, distribution, marketing, public relations, accounting, finance, and international business.
